Palm Ultralight Wireless Headset
Palm audio accessories is always the best for Treo smartphone users. They have just unveiled their new Palm Ultralight Wireless Headset which makes use of the Bluetooth technology. This ultra-lightweight yet sporting headset implements a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) feature which gives a big help in reducing transmitted background noise for crystal-clear calls. I'm pretty sure this Bluetooth-compatible headset features a compatible, in-ear design with the soft gel tips that comes in three sizes for optimal fit and an optional ear loop that provides added security. With just a touch of a button, you will be able to answer or end calls, get last number redial, mute and a lot more. Upon fully charged, you could talk on the phone for 3 hours with 80 hours of standby time. An AAA battery powered charger can extends talk time up to 9 hours. You can use your Treo smartphone AC adaptor to charge this headset and being 33 feet away from your smartphone is not a problem for a good reception. It is compatible with Treo 700p, Treo 700w and Treo 650 smartphones only. You can get one now at TreoStore with the price of USD129 and it comes with a sleek metal case. - Bluetooth 2.0 compliant

O2 unleashes mighty Atom
O2 has launched a mysterious website with details of a new Pocket PC it'd like us to call 'the bomb' and 'explosive'. Yes, it's the Atom Exec.
As hype-stirring previews go, the site's generous with details, revealing the fact that the new Exec is a palmtop-phone with Windows Mobile 5.0, Blackberry-esque push e-mail and built-in Wi-Fi.
Heads will rightly be nodding in approval at this point, but there's more. The Exec sports a nippier 520MHz processor than its predecessor - which never made it to our isles - allowing it to juggle several Office applications at once. There's a bolstered 192MB memory and a 2MP camera too.
The main difference between the black-coated Exec and rivals like the forthcoming Motorola Q is the input system: instead of a QWERTY keyboard, you get a 2.7in QVGA touchscreen and stylus. Email addicts, it's time to choose your weapon.........

Japan to open robot museum!
Japan's first bot museum is set to open this October in a refurbished auto showroom in Nagoya, of all places.
Once cleansed of cars and sales staff ("Nice robot here, one owner only!"), the site will become home to cast-off bots from the 2005 Aichi Expo and their industrial brethren. The 2,600-square-meter museum will also feature a shop and a cafe set in a "near future" environment where humans and robots coexist peacefully. The entry fee hasn't been fixed yet. ........

Jelly Bean Flip Clock
I find this Jelly Bean Flip Clock fascinating - not because it's especially nice - it looks cheap and indeed is cheap in price. What's fascinating is that design-wise, it's almost identical to a Cifra 5 clock we own.
The Cifra 5 was an award-winning flipdown clock designed by Gino Valle in 1956 - and it's a design that's been copied repeatedly ever since. The original is a very heavy and stylish thing made of steel, with a wood base - but the look isn't far from this latter day copy.
The Jelly Bean Flip clock is available for £7.99. You'll pay a lot more for a Cifra 5 - but believe me, it's a worthy investment.
