Previous to launch there were two themes to rumours, these are detailed below:

The first series of rumours were centred around the N75 being a Nokia N73 styled slider, whilst the specifications shown were mostly plausible, the form factor and photoshopped image seem rather unlikely. One point is that the likely resolution of a number of S60 phones will be QVGA (240x320) rather than 352x416.

The second series of rumours seemed a little more plausible, and the fuzzy photo of a RAZR styled Nokia N71 successor is much more in keeping with traditional leaks.
